    Feed the Beast: StoneBlock2 Information

Due to popularity, Minecraft Leadership has changed our modded server over to the StoneBlock2 modpack. There was a lot of interest in the Invasion modpack from everyone; however, it is a bit more tedious to install compared to over modpacks. This is the first modpack that Minecraft Leadership has featured that isn't on the Feed the Beast legacy launcher.

Ways to Install Feed the Beast: StoneBlock 2

    Installation using the Legacy Launcher

    Installation using the Twitch Launcher
    • Go to https://app.twitch.tv/download.
    • Click the download button.
    • Download it as normal.
    • Login/make a login.
    • Click Mods on the top left.
    • Click Minecraft.
    • Click Browse all modpacks.
    • Either search or scroll down to StoneBlock 2.
    • Mouse over the modpacks image card and click install

Solution to allocate more RAM (for smoother gameplay, only for those with enough RAM to reserve more for MC) using the Twitch Launcher
    • Click the down arrow by your username on the top right.
    • Click settings.
    • Click Minecraft.
    • Scroll down to Java settings, where it says maximum memory allocation.
    • Move the bar to your desired amount. Usually around 4gb, or 4094mb will do, but you can up that depending on your maximum amount of RAM.

Alternative Way to Install without using the Twitch Launcher or the Legacy Launcher
    • Go here to get the correct version of forge (please remember to click the skip button on the top right when it appears.)
    • Run the download.
    • Click install client.
    • Launch the MC launcher, and click the version dropdown and switch to Forge.
    • Launch Forge MC once.
    • Download the mods from curseforge here.
    • Place the mods you just downloaded in your .minecraft folder.

Allocating more RAM using the Forge Method
    • Open up the MC launcher.
    • Click Launch Options.
    • Make sure Advanced Settings is on.
    • Click the Forge profile.
    • Turn on JVM arguments.
    • Change the -xmx#GB to however many GB you want to allow. So if you want MC to have 4gb you change it to -xmx4gb.

    CarrotShop Information

    Buying a Shop
When you go to /warp shops, go down to the shop you would like to buy. There will be a sign stating what shop name it is and a command to buy it: to buy the claim, type /claimbuy in chat. What comes up in chat should be the below picture. Find the name that was on the sign and click the [Buy] button beside the name. Small shops are 1,500 dollars and large shops are 5,000 dollars.

    Setting up a Sell Sign
To set up a sell sign, you will need to do /kit shop. This kit gives you a piece of Redstone. To set up a sell sign, you need one sign and one chest (trap chest or normal chest.) Whenever you have those items, you place down the chest and put the item you want to buy from players inside of it. After that, you create a sign that looks like the following:

For the first line, [Sell] is required to be in brackets. If it isn't, the sell sign won't work.
For the second and third line, anything can be written here. It's highly suggested putting the item you want to buy from players here.
For the fourth line, you will put the price at which you are buying the item. All money is taken directly from your /bal.

To connect the chest to the sign, you will need to take your piece of Redstone and left click the chest and then left click the sign. The [Sell] should turn blue and this is how you know it was set up correctly.

Please note that putting prices in cents doesn't work. 0.15 recognizes as 15 dollars. So, if you want to make an even dollar, or close to it, you will have to multiply the 0.15 until you get close to a dollar and add that many items to the chest before you make the sign.

    Setting up a Buy Sign
To set up a buy sign, you will need to do /kit shop. This kit gives you a piece of Redstone. To set up a buy sign, you need one sign and one chest (trap chest or normal chest.) Whenever you have those items, you place down the chest and put the item you want to sell to players inside of it. After that, you create a sign that looks like the following:

    Setting up a Trade Sign
To set up a trade sign, you will need to do /kit shop. This kit gives you a piece of Redstone. To set up a trade sign, you need one sign and two chests (trap chest or normal chest). When you get those, you place down the chests and put the item you want to get from the trade in one, and the item you are giving in the other. After that, you create a sign that looks like the following:

For the first line, [Trade] is required to be in brackets. If it isn't, the trade sign won't work.
For the second, third, and fourth line anything can be written there. It's highly suggested putting the items you are trading on those lines.

To connect the chest to the sign, you will need to take your piece of Redstone and left click the chest that is going to be the item you receive and then left click the other chest that they will be receiving from the trade. After you do that, left click the trade sign. The [Trade] should turn blue and this is how you know it was set up correctly.

Please note that putting prices in cents doesn't work. 0.15 recognizes as 15 dollars. So, if you want to make an even dollar, or close to it, you will have to multiply the 0.15 until you get close to a dollar and add that many items to the chest before you make the sign.
