Welcome New Community Management

If you weren’t able to make our Clan Wide Meeting this past weekend you not only missed out on our Members of the Year but also missed our Community Management additions. Since last year, two of our divisions have been without a direct Community Management representative. USCG Hammer has been the interim rep for Team Fortress 2 and the Personnel Service Center for the later half of 2016. To help fill voids and relieve responsibility from Matt we are welcoming Darren “Razor” and Adam “MisterAdam” back to our team. In addition, we are adding a new face in Tyler “Agent6262” to continue his efforts as a lead Tech member on our Tech Team under GardenGroveVW.

Joining EdgeGamers in 2008, Darren has been around for the growth of the Personnel Service Center since its inception as the Recruiters. Taking on every role in the division from Advisor all the way to Community Manager, Darren is a major reason why the PSC has taken the shape is has today. After stepping down from his position early in 2016, we are excited to welcome him back to our team.

A long time member of Team Fortress 2, Adam has been in TF2 through all of the changes over the years. Being forced to adapt to an ever-changing game, Adam has proven that he is a strong capable leader dedicated to the growth of TF2 in EdgeGamers. Also previously a part of our Community Management team Adam knows what it takes to grow Team Fortress 2 and make an amazing experience for our members.

Although his work is behind the scenes, Tyler’s productivity has helped jump start EdgeGamers’ growth for 2017. Dedicating countless hours and many long nights to the development of our forum upgrade, Tyler is the main reason we were able to remodel and update our forums. His contributions also pushed updates out for MAUL and built solutions for new applicants in DAPS. Tyler’s technical expertise will be something we continue to tap into for 2017. We are fortunate and thankful for the work he has done and look forward to the work he has planned for the rest of the year.

A part of EdgeGamers since May 2008, Austin has been a part of many aspects of our community. After leading the Counter-Strike Division, Austin was brought up to the Community Manager rank in March 2011, and later accepted the rank of Chief Operations Officer in July 2014.
