New Member Experience End Of Year Report

Personnel Service Center runs a global program within EdgeGamers called the New Member Experience in which a new member who joins the program is assigned with a representative from the same division. Representatives show our newest members around eGO, meet great gaming friends, and how to have fun in our community.

Since the beginning of the program we have had a lot of volunteer representatives from all divisions. Some new members became representatives themselves later in the program. We have received a lot of great feedback from the program and we decided to share some of the answers from our Graduation Survey to thank all our representatives for their great work helping new members.

Comments about the New Member Experience

“I believe that this program is a great way to get new people active. Most sites similar to your own do not do anything remotely close to this. Just another way eGO is different from everyone else.”

“This program is good because new members can adapt more faster, when representatives introduce them with community, and everything else eGO offers. This program was great for me because i found new friends, and also eGO bf4 teamspeak channel is the best 😀 Keep being awesome!”

“The program itself is useful; not only does it help new users become acquainted with the servers and the organization, but it helps to start a friendship between the new user and their chosen representative.”

Comments about the New Member Experience Representatives

“He is a very nice person and was (and hopefully will) always there for me. I like his comical attitude and pleasant helpful demeanor and I think is a perfect representation of all eGO players.”

“He was helpful, polite and friendly. He was a fantastic representative for your community. He contacted me promptly and checked with me frequently to see if I needed help. The mentor program is a great idea.”

“What a nice person. I was worried that the clan might be a bit clicky, but my representative has made me feel very welcome, and reminded me to join events which I would otherwise probably not have attended. Thanks for giving him to me as a representative!”

“The best representative I could wish for!”

Thoughts From Our Chairman, Artimus

“I was in BF last night and a new member (mid-30’s professional type) complimented eGO as a well run organization. He was especially impressed with the New Member Experience which assigned someone to show him the ropes. Well done PSC!”

So, we want to thank you all for representing eGO values and being a part of this experience. Keep up the great work.

If you aren’t a part of this program but want to be a part of it, feel free to contact any of our Personnel Service Leadership.
