EdgeGamers Loses A Friend

One of our fellow veteran Counter Strike members, Bumble-Bee, passed away Sunday, October 4th in a tragic car accident. He was 24 years old and is survived by the mother of his children, Chelsea, and two beautiful kids – Leigha, 5, and Landyn, 2.

Bumble-Bee, or Joe, was a prominent member in eGO’s competitive scene a few years ago and had remained loyal to the community since joining in 2009. Bumble-Bee has left an unforgettable mark on many of us throughout the years, whether through scrims, events or contests.

A GoFundMe campaign has been created by Zoomer to help his family cover some of the impending costs. Any leftover funds will be used for his children. We encourage you to comment on the page with your memories of Bumble-Bee.

Thanks to Zoomer for the content of this article. We are all sorry for the loss of his dear friend.

A part of EdgeGamers since May 2008, Austin has been a part of many aspects of our community. After leading the Counter-Strike Division, Austin was brought up to the Community Manager rank in March 2011, and later accepted the rank of Chief Operations Officer in July 2014.

It was an honor to play along side someone who was truly dedicated to make eGO in Counter-Strike the top community around. A veteran of our community and someone who helped build the Counter-Strike division to what it is today. Rest in peace.
